Basketball Game Preview: Show Low Cougars vs. Winslow Bulldogs

The Show Low Cougars will take on the Winslow Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Friday, Show Low ended up a good deal behind Holbrook and lost 65-47.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Winslow's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Alchesay, falling 68-46. The Bulldogs were down 55-30 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Winslow's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9. As for Show Low, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Show Low couldn't quite finish off Winslow when the teams last played on January 10th and fell 71-68. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Winslow's Isaac David, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds.
