White Oak lost to Swansboro back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Pirates 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

White Oak's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Brandt, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Brandt a new career-high.

White Oak's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Swansboro, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 11-6.

White Oak has already played their next game, an 11-1 loss against West Carteret on the 28th. As for Swansboro, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-2 win against Croatan on the 29th.
