Softball Recap: Clear Brook Comes Up Short

Clear Brook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 11-5 to the Brazoswood Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-6 back in March.

Ahiza Garcia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Taliyah Williams also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Clear Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Brazoswood, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Clear Brook nor Brazoswood have any future games scheduled.
