Softball Recap: West Jefferson Roughriders vs. Triad Cardinals

West Jefferson entered their tilt with Triad with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They skirted past the Triad Cardinals 7-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as West Jefferson also won the last time the pair played last Monday.

Lexi Swaney made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Swaney was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run.
