Preview: Random Lake vs. Manitowoc Lutheran
On Friday Manitowoc Lutheran take on Random Lake at 7:00 PM. Manitowoc Lutheran have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Random Lake are surely hoping to exploit.
We expected Manitowoc Lutheran to have trouble with the significantly higher ranked Hilbert last Friday, and they did. Manitowoc Lutheran ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-34 walloping at Hilbert's hands. This makes it the second loss in a row for Manitowoc Lutheran.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Howards Grove, Random Lake were happy to find some success. Random Lake were able to grind out a solid victory over Mishicot, winning 31-24.
Manitowoc Lutheran simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Random Lake 49-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Manitowoc Lutheran since the team won't have home-field advantage.
