There's no place like home for Verdugo Hills, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They blew past the Chavez Eagles 51-21 on Friday. The Dons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Jeffrey Moran continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7 of 13 on his way to 19 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Paul Castro, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Verdugo Hills' victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Chavez, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
