While losing is never fun, Waterloo West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 151st, while Wilton are ranked 27th).

Waterloo West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Wilton, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Waterloo West didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Muscatine on the 26th. As for Wilton, they have also already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Pleasant Valley on the 29th.
