After a string of three wins, Beech Grove's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 22-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Destanie Marion threw for 88 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Amiyah Dunn was her top target, picking up 48 receiving yards and two TDs. On the ground, Deanna Evans rushed for 81 yards on only seven carries.

Beech Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Lafayette Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Beech Grove will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on BELIEVE Circle City at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. Lafayette Jefferson has already played their next contest (against Purdue Broad Ripple), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
