Basketball Recap: The New School Comes Up Short

The New School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Xavier Educational Academy, falling 69-45. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-52 back in January.

The New School's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Xavier Educational Academy, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Looking ahead, The New School will venture away from home to challenge Alpena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Xavier Educational Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
