Baseball Recap: Penn Hills Takes a Loss

Penn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 11-6 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Penn Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Shady Side Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Penn Hills will welcome Greater Latrobe at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Shady Side Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge South Allegheny at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give Shady Side Academy their first taste of in-conference action this season.
