Basketball Recap: Sterling Raiders vs. Washington Eagles
Sterling easily dispatched Cesar E. Chavez last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Sterling Raiders fell just short of the Washington Eagles by a score of 38-36 on Saturday. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Madison Morrow and Nevaeh Robinson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Morrow dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards, while Robinson posted 11 points along with five boards and four steals.
