            Baseball Recap: Skyridge Falcons vs. Springville Red Devils        
        
		
        
        
            The home team had come away the winner the last five times Skyridge and Springville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Falcons walked away with  a   7-3  victory over the Red Devils  on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 Max Johanson made a big impact no matter where he played. He  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  a single  hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Cohen Plewe, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. That  home run marked the first that  he  launched this season.  Rip Roberts was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.

 Skyridge and Springville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  matchups. The next time the Falcons see the field they'll take on Pleasant Grove  at 3:30  p.m.  on  the 8th. As for Springville, their break will end when they face Wasatch  at 3:30  p.m.  on  the 8th.
