Basketball Game Preview: Lost River Raiders vs. Bonanza Antlers

Lost River is 2-8 against Bonanza since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lost River Raiders will host the Bonanza Antlers at 5:30 p.m. Lost River will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Lost River was fully in charge, breezing past Oakridge 45-8. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bonanza earned a 30-23 win over Culver on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Antlers.

Bonanza pushed their record up to 8-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Lost River, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Lost River was dealt a bruising 47-16 loss at the hands of Bonanza in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Lost River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
