The Spanish Springs Cougars will square off against the Bishop Manogue Miners at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spanish Springs is coming into the contest hot, having won their last nine games.
Spanish Springs is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Galena: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Spanish Springs blew Galena out of the water with a 74-33 final score. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Spanish Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Flint out in front who made all 6 shots he took for 13 points. Those 13 points gave Flint a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Trevor Landreth, who went 6 for 9 en route to 12 points.
Spanish Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, everything went Bishop Manogue's way against McQueen on Friday as Bishop Manogue made off with a 62-41 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.
Bishop Manogue's win came from a few key players Spanish Springs will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Liam Sorensen, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamahl Jackson, who posted ten points in addition to eight boards and four blocks.
Spanish Springs is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Bishop Manogue, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-9.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as both are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Spanish Springs hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 58.9 points per game. However, it's not like Bishop Manogue struggles in that department as they've been averaging 57 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
