Soccer Recap: Canyon Comes Up Short

Canyon was the 1-0 winner over El Dorado when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Canyon Comanches fell just short of the El Dorado Golden Hawks by a score of 1-0 on Friday. One thing that didn't help the Comanches' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Sam Andraso.

This is the second loss in a row for Canyon and nudges their season record down to 7-5-2. As for El Dorado, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4-3.

Canyon will square off against Sunny Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunny Hills' last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for El Dorado, they will challenge Yorba Linda at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
