Basketball Recap: Oak Grove Lutheran Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Oak Grove Lutheran and Lisbon had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers fell to the Lisbon Broncos 83-77. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), the Grovers still had to take the loss.

Oak Grove Lutheran's loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Lisbon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Oak Grove Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lisbon, they will host Central Cass at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Lisbon has given up an average of 51.4 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
