Basketball Recap: Midway Piles Up the Points Against Gold-Burg

There's no place like home for Midway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Gold-Burg Bears, posting an 86-59 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 66-37 back in January.

Midway has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 11-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Gold-Burg, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Midway Falcons challenge the Bellevue Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Gold-Burg, they will venture away from home to take on Forestburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Forestburg is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.4 points per game this season.
