Basketball Recap: Bret Harte Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bret Harte can now relate to. They lost to the Woodland Christian Cardinals on the road by a 76-61 margin on Tuesday. The matchup was a 36-36 toss-up at halftime, but the Bullfrogs couldn't quite close it out.

Romello Bruhn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Woodland Christian, dropping a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds. Bruhn has been hot for a while, having posted 16 or more points the last 58 times he's played. Tanner Thomas was another key player, to rack up 16 points and seven boards.

Bret Harte's defeat dropped their record down to 22-8. As for Woodland Christian, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

As of now, neither Bret Harte nor Woodland Christian have any future games scheduled.
