Baseball Recap: Tahoma Drops Season-High Score on Stadium

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tahoma). They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Stadium Tigers on Tuesday. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Bryson Leach looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since April 3rd.

On the hitting side, Tahoma let Timmy McEwen and Lucas Post run wild. McEwen went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double, while Post went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three RBI gave McEwen a new career-high. Andrew Dyk also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Tahoma moved to 10-7-1 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Stadium, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.

Tahoma will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
