Baseball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sierra's offense. They came up short against the Oakdale Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 6-0. The Timberwolves just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Sierra saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Diego, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Sierra's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Oakdale, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Sierra by a score of 8-2 on Friday.
