Softball Recap: Oviedo Takes a Loss

Oviedo and Lake Howell squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Oviedo had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Silverhawks by a score of 1-0. The Lions have struggled against the Silverhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Oviedo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Madden, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Oviedo's defeat dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Lake Howell, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

As of now, neither Oviedo nor the Silverhawks have any future games scheduled.
