It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bullard ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They skirted past the Arroyo Grande Eagles 8-7. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Bullard's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Arroyo Grande, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Bullard will challenge Pioneer Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arroyo Grande, they will square off against Lompoc at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
