Volleyball Recap: Governor Mifflin Takes Down Ranked Northeastern

Governor Mifflin faced Northeastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

While Governor Mifflin might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Northeastern scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 19-25, 25-19, 25-21.

Governor Mifflin pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Northeastern, their loss dropped their record down to 27-12-8.

Coming up, Governor Mifflin will take on Emmaus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northeastern, they will face off against Pennsbury at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
