Basketball Recap: Governor Livingston Takes a Loss

Governor Livingston was the 58-53 winner over Dayton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the Governor Livingston Highlanders and the Dayton Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Governor Livingston Highlanders falling 47-33. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lucas Antonio continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Dayton, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Antonio a new career-high in boards. Nicky Perez was another key player, putting up seven points.

Governor Livingston's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Dayton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.

Governor Livingston will take on South Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dayton, they will square off against Union on Tuesday.
