Northwest has gone a perfect 6-0 against Santa Fe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Northwest will head out on the road to square off against Santa Fe at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Northwest is leaving town to face Santa Fe after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Northwest lost 12-0 to Lone Jack on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Mules recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe fell victim to Cole Camp and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Blue Birds, falling 11-0.

Northwest took their win against Santa Fe in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northwest since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
