New Manchester put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 48-14 victory over the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs. With the Jaguar ahead 34-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Chris (Smooth) Miller and Ashtyn Thomas certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. (Smooth) Miller threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns on only 19 passes, while Thomas picked up 50 receiving yards and one score.

New Manchester's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Kennesaw Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Coming up, New Manchester will be playing at home against East Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennesaw Mountain, they will head out to face off against Lithia Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will be up against the Lions' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
