12 must be Northern's lucky number: they beat Marriotts Ridge with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over Marriotts Ridge. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by seven runs or more this season.

Miles Halbert was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Waclawski, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

Northern was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in eight consecutive contests.

Northern is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
