Softball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

If Frontier was feeling good fresh off their 15-5 takedown of Shadyside on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Fort Frye Cadets on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Fort Frye, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

Frontier wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-5 defeat against Shenandoah on the 22nd. As for Fort Frye, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-0 loss against Warren on the 23rd.
