Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woods Charter, Triangle Math & Science was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ascend Leadership Aviators, sneaking past 55-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Triangle Math & Science's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12. As for Ascend Leadership, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Triangle Math & Science will welcome Clover Garden School at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ascend Leadership, they will venture away from home to face off against Chatham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
