It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Willamette had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 59-46 victory over the North Medford Black Tornado. Winning may never get old, but the Wolverines sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Willamette's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for North Medford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Coming up, Willamette will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Grants Pass at 7:00 p.m. Willamette knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Grants Pass likes a good challenge. As for North Medford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sheldon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
