Baseball Recap: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Takes a Loss

Wiseburn- Da Vinci fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Bell on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Wolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Nathaniel Buendia was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, James Mara was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bell, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
