Platte County had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Truman on Wednesday. The Pirates put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Pirates sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Platte County was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-10.
