Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against North Henderson. They came up short against the Knights on Friday, falling 13-3. The Panthers have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Anderson Terrell was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Henderson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Franklin is set to square off against their familiar foe Smoky Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Henderson will take on rival East Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
