Basketball Game Preview: Hartford Hurricanes vs. Bellows Falls Terriers

The Hartford Hurricanes will venture away from home to take on the Bellows Falls Terriers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hartford is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Vermont's top teams: Windsor, who was ranked sixth at the time (Hartford was ranked seventh). Bellows Falls has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Monday as they fell 46-31 to Springfield.

Bellows Falls' defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Hartford, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-3.

Hartford took their victory against Bellows Falls when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 43-23. In that game, Hartford amassed a halftime lead of 27-2, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
