East Forsyth and Davie are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Eagles will welcome the War Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (East Forsyth has nine straight victories, Davie has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Friday, East Forsyth made easy work of Mount Tabor and carried off a 15-5 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Davie's offense. They lost 8-0 to Reagan on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the War Eagles have suffered since April 23, 2024.

East Forsyth pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Davie, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

East Forsyth couldn't quite get it done against Davie when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 5-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
