Soccer Recap: Rangeview Comes Up Short

If Rangeview was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hinkley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders came up short against the Northfield Nighthawks on Tuesday, falling 9-1. While losing is never fun, Rangeview can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 143rd, while Northfield are ranked 22nd).

Rangeview's goal came courtesy of Zuleyka Perez, who's now up to nine this season.

Rangeview dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Northfield, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0-3.
