Softball Recap: Bland County Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bland County's offense. They came up short against the Grayson County Blue Devils on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Bears' loss continues a trend for the team, making it 11 in a row dating back to last season.

Bland County got a good showing from Katie Smith, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Bland County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Grayson County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bland County will face off against Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Grayson County, they will square off against Chilhowie at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
