Soccer Game Preview: Morton Ranch vs. Cinco Ranch

Morton Ranch is 0-9-1 against Cinco Ranch since March of 2021 but things could change on Friday. The Mavericks are taking a road trip to challenge the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Morton Ranch fell victim to Mayde Creek and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch didn't have quite enough to beat Mayde Creek on Tuesday and fell 3-2. One reason for the loss might be Cinco Ranch's aggressive play style: Simon Perafan and Colton Chew were both handed yellow cards.

Cinco Ranch's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Morton Ranch, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-4.

Morton Ranch couldn't quite get it done against Cinco Ranch in their previous meeting back in February as they fell 2-0. Can the Mavericks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
