Baseball Recap: St. Anne's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

It was a proper cat-fight when St. Anne challenged Herscher on Tuesday. St. Anne came up short against Herscher, falling 10-1. The loss was the Cardinals' first of the season.

St. Anne saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Ponton, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Anne fell to 3-1. As for Herscher, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Anne will host Cissna Park at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Herscher, they will welcome Morris at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Herscher is facing Morris at the right time seeing as Morris is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
