Bloomington North skates past Evansville Reitz with ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Terre Haute North Vigo, the Bloomington North Cougars were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They blew past Evansville Reitz 70-39 at home. With Bloomington North ahead 42-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.

It was another big night for Luke Lindeman, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Williams, who scored 13 points along with two steals.

Despite the loss, Evansville Reitz still got an impressive performance from Evan Hayes, who scored 15 points. Jaylan Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.

Bloomington North's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Evansville Reitz, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

As for Evansville Reitz, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jeffersonville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jeffersonville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 425 points over their last six contests.
