Basketball Recap: Maple Mountain Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Maple Mountain had won four straight home games dating back to last season and Nash Jackson did his part to make it five on Tuesday. It took a bit of extra time, but the Golden Eagles secured a 58-55 win against the Timpanogos Timberwolves in overtime thanks in part to Jackson: he dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. Jackson is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season.

Maple Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Timpanogos, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Maple Mountain will venture away from home to take on Cedar Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles will be up against the Aviators' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Timpanogos, they will head out to face off against Juan Diego Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on December 3.
