Volleyball Recap: Greenbrier Bobcats vs. Macon County Tigers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Liberty Creek, Greenbrier was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past the Macon County Tigers 3-2. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers , too.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Greenbrier got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 14-25, 15-11.
Greenbrier's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Macon County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
Greenbrier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Liberty Creek on the 8th. Macon County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
