Baseball Recap: Eastern Alamance Eagles vs. Southern Alamance Patriots

They walked away with a 13-8 win over the Southern Alamance Patriots. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Eastern Alamance considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Eastern Alamance let James Wellons and Tyler Westbrooks loose on the outfield. Wellons scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Westbrooks scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Braxton Ballard was another key contributor, scoring a run.
Eastern Alamance's victory bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Southern Alamance, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-7.
