Baseball Preview: Deep Run Wildcats vs. Hermitage Panthers
Deep Run is 9-1 against Hermitage since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Hermitage took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Deep Run, who comes in off a win.
Deep Run played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Freeman. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Nate Goodin looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Deep Run is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 3-6 otherwise.
