Softball Game Preview: Robertson County Black Devils vs. Augusta Panthers

The Robertson County Black Devils will take on the Augusta Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Robertson County fell victim to Bracken County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Polar Bears, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to Paris.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Robertson County, their defeat was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything went Robertson County's way against Augusta when the teams last played back in April, as Robertson County made off with a 14-4 win. Do the Black Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
