Basketball Recap: Cleveland Piles Up the Points Against Ooltewah

While Cleveland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Ooltewah Owls, posting an 81-28 win. That 53 point margin sets a new team best for the Blue Raiders this season.

Tim Matthews was his usual excellent self, going 5 for 8 on his way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Miolen, who posted nine points.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ooltewah, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Loudon the next time they take the court. Cleveland will head out to face Loudon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Ooltewah will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
