Port Gibson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-5 to the Raymond Rangers. One positive for the Blue Waves, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Port Gibson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Raymond, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Raymond beat Port Gibson by a score of 16-4 later that day.
