Volleyball Recap: Chandler Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chandler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Perry Pumas, falling 3-0. The Wolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Pumas from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

While Chandler was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-11, 25-18.

Leala Pittsley paced Chandler's offense, picking up nine kills. Pittsley got some help from Brooke Mehlberg and her 23 assists. Destiny McKee controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Leading Perry to victory were Braeley Norton and Kail Shill. Norton had 18 digs and two aces, while Shill had 15 assists and three digs.

Chandler's defeat dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Perry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-14.

Coincidentally, Chandler and Perry will both be playing Casteel the next time they take the court. The Pumas will head out to face the Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
