Volleyball Recap: Walsenburg Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Walsenburg took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Harrison. Walsenburg was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harrison apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Walsenburg ultimately came up short, they really made Harrison work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25.

Walsenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Harrison, with the win, they broke their 13-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Walsenburg will take on Primero at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harrison, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Coronado on the 28th.
