On Friday, The Vineland Fighting Clan got themselves on the board against the Pennsauken Indians, but the Pennsauken Indians never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Indians 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Vineland.
Vineland's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Pennsauken, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
Vineland will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Eastern at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Eastern is ranked 152nd, while Vineland is ranked 139th). As for Pennsauken, they will head out on the road to face off against Winslow Township at 6:00 p.m. on October 28th. Winslow Township will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
